Direct Debit (DD) terms and conditions
1. The period for this promotion is 1 November 2009 to 31
August 2010 ("the incentive period"). The incentive period may
be extended or withdrawn sooner at the sole discretion of the
National Childminding Association ("NCMA").
2. This promotion is open only to members of
NCMA. Your NCMA membership and insurance renewal date (“your
renewal date”) must fall within the incentive period in order for
you to participate in this promotion, anything past this date will
be sole discretion of NCMA.
3. In order to take part in this promotion you must set up
a direct debit to pay your full year’s NCMA membership fees and
insurance on one of the two proposed direct debit payment dates,
being 1st or 15th of a month ("DD payment date"), as referred to in
clause 5.
4. If you take part in this promotion you will receive an
incentive discount on your NCMA membership fees and
insurance. The incentive discount will be calculated based on
your renewal date and your DD payment date as outlined in clause
5.

5.1. If your renewal date falls on or between the 1st - 5th of
any month within the incentive period your DD payment date will be
the 15th of that month, and if your renewal date falls on or
between the 21st and the last day of any month within the incentive
period your DD payment date will be the 15th of the following
month. Your renewal date will now be the same as your payment
date, thereby giving you up to 24 days’ free NCMA membership and
insurance (“your incentive”).
5.2. If your renewal date falls on or between the 6th and
the 20th of any month within the incentive period your DD payment
date will be the 1st of the following month. Your renewal date
will now be the same as your payment date, thereby giving you up to
25 days’ free NCMA membership and insurance (“your incentive”).
6. To participate in this promotion you must set up a
direct debit to pay the full year’s NCMA membership fees and
insurance on your DD payment date by either:
- Completing and returning the Direct Debit Instruction to NCMA;
or
- Calling NCMA 0845 880 0044 to set up your Direct Debit
Instruction over the phone.
7. Your Direct Debit Instruction must be received by NCMA
by post or over the phone at least 14 days prior to your renewal
date.
8. Any member that wishes to take up this offer whose
renewal date falls after 1 April 2010 maybe subject to
price alterations. Should the 2010/2011 prices not be set at
take-up of the offer, customers will be notified and contacted
accordingly.
9. A direct debit cannot be set up if you previous
membership has lapsed in excess of seven days.
10. If you cancel your Direct Debit Instruction before the
payment is made or fail for any reason to make your full NCMA
membership and insurance payment by direct debit on your DD payment
date, NCMA reserves the right to withdraw your incentive and demand
that all and any outstanding payments required to cover your full
NCMA membership fees and insurance for the year be paid
immediately by cheque or credit/debit card.
11. Your incentive cannot be transferred to any other
person, used as a discount on any alternative products or services
provided by or through NCMA, or exchanged for cash. Your
incentive cannot be combined with any other incentive, discount or
promotion.
12. The £15 saving quoted in this promotion refers to the
joining fee charged to new members and those who let their
membership lapse in excess of four weeks.
13. NCMA reserves the right to change and/or withdraw this
promotion at any time.
