You can join
NCMA for a range of professional benefits and support. Membership
of NCMA shows parents that you are committed to providing a
quality, professional service.
Over-7s childminder members of NCMA agree to work towards NCMA's
Quality Standards. These standards are all related to keeping
children safe and encouraging best practice.
All NCMA members receive six copies a year of NCMA's glossy
membership magazine - full of supportive and inspirational articles
to help you in your career. Plus, membership entitles you to
generous discounts off NCMA products and the chance to make great
savings with NCMAsaver.
NCMA Over-7s childminders have access to:
- the support of a professional, national, non-profit-making
childcare charity
- useful information to help you in your work
- free NCMA information line
- free legal advice on any legal matter
- free legal representation
- legal expenses insurance
- special offers on selected companies' products and services,
including motor insurance.
Over-7s childminders wanting to join NCMA must have had a
satisfactory enhanced CRB disclosure. This is usually carried out
by an employer or nanny agency. If you have chosen to join the
voluntary section of the Ofsted Childcare Register, we can accept
the associated CRB disclosure.
