Structure and strategy
As a professional membership organisation, NCMA's
structure reflects the importance of gathering its members' views
and opinions to influence its policies.
NCMA collects its members' views in a range of ways, and members
are involved in all areas of the organisation.
NCMA is divided into ten membership regions across England and
Wales. When a childminder or nanny joins NCMA they
automatically become a member of the region in which they live.
For many members, their NCMA region is their first port of call
for local support and training. It's also at a regional level that
many members begin volunteering with NCMA. The regional volunteers
are key in gathering members' views and feeding them back to NCMA
via the National Policy Forum.
You can see a map of NCMA's membership
regions (pdf, 91kb) and find details of NCMA's offices.
