Online safety
The internet is part of every child’s life and
can offer great possibilities for children. However whilst children
should be encouraged to take advantage of the benefits the internet
can offer them, steps should be taken to ensure they are aware that
the risks to their privacy and safety are real.
NCMA has produced guidance to raise the
awareness of online safety for childminders and parents. The
guidance can be shared with children and it contains signposting to
websites which provide learning resources, security software and
further guidance.
