NCMA-produced EYFS: Getting Started gives clear guidance and hints and tips on working within the framework.

 

Active Learning, a bestselling NCMA publication, helps childminders recognise the ways that the everyday activities they do with the children they care for fit into the areas of learning and development set out in the EYFS. You can buy a copy in NCMA's shop.

Practical EYFS handbook gives a detailed explanation of practical approaches to meeting the requirements of the EYFS framework. Each requirement is presented in an everyday context, and the book includes over 160 activities related to the EYFS principles.

 

Penny's latest book, Continued Success with the EYFS includes a DVD of entertaining 'EYFS makeovers' in a variety of childcare settings. Penny links activities to EYFS areas to help you understand how to fulfil each area.

The Ofsted website contains links to the forms and documentation that you need to prepare for registration or inspection with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
