Model constitution
If you are
forming a new childminding group you may wish to use NCMA's model
constitution for childminding groups.
NCMA offers a model constitution so that all NCMA-affiliated
groups (whose members receive money off NCMA membership) have the
same foundation and guidelines. This helps build a strong network
of groups, all run along similar lines.
NCMA's model constitution for childminding groups was updated in
March 2009 and notes to accompany the constitution are available
using the links on the right.
New groups will automatically be sent the updated constitution
but, if you're an existing group you may wish to replace your
constitution with the new one, although it isn't compulsory.
If you do wish to update your constitution, your group members
will need to vote on whether or not to accept it at your group's
next annual general meeting.
