Grant funding
NCMA has responded to a DCSF consultation into Review of the
Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) Grant Programme.
This consultation asked for feedback as part of a review of the
Children, Young People and Families Grant Programme. This
review is looking at a number of factors including the process that
organisations need to go through to apply for a grant, the level of
paperwork and administration involved, and how appropriate the
criteria is for applicants to meet. In addition the
consultation has given an opportunity to feed back on
communications with the Department for Children, Schools and
Families and ongoing contact during the life of the grant.
NCMA has been awarded a strategic grant as part of this
programme to support its key activities, which is why the
Association responded.
