NCMA has responded to a DCSF consultation into EYFS profile
data arrangements.
This consulted on proposals to enable local authorities to be
able to request EYFS profile data from non-funded providers who are
registered on the Ofsted Early Years Register.
NCMA has responded saying that whilst registered childminders
are keen to work with local authorities to enable them to fulfil
their sufficiency duty, it is vital that any additional paperwork
does not become burdensome and bureaucratic and that support and
guidance should be provided around providers and settings working
together efficiently.
