Fair Play: a consultation on the play strategy

The Department for Children, Families and Schools (DCSF) has launched a consultation, Fair Play: A consultation on the play strategy.

The current proposals are aimed at making public space more child-friendly in a variety of ways, including placing a stronger focus on spaces for play in the planning system; training for people who design and manage public space; supporting local community ownership of space suitable for play.

The consultation is open to everyone, and the closing date is 18 July 2008. To read the consultation summary, or to complete the consultation online, visit www.dcsf.gov.uk/consultations/conDetails.cfm?consultationId=1543
