NCMA responded to the consultation on Legislating for Sure Start
Children's Centres.
NCMA welcomed the proposal to set them on a statutory footing,
but sought to improve the extent to which they cooperated with
childminders and utilised local PVI provision to meet demand for
chidlcare in their area.
