Handling Safeguarding Allegations
NCMA has responded to a consultation by the Department for
Children, Schools and Families into proposals for changing the way
allegations of abuse against adults working with children
and young people are handled.
NCMA's view is that more work needs to be done on the proposal
to adequately take into account the needs of registered
childminders and nannies, many of whom work alone.
