Opportunity to publish contact details with Ofsted
Ofsted is giving childminders the opportunity to have their
contact details published on the Ofsted website in the future. All
childminders in England will receive a letter explaining how to opt
in to this service.
NCMA recognises that this will be of benefit to many registered
childminders who want to advertise their businesses more widely and
welcomes the fact that, as an opt-in service, those who would
prefer to keep their details private can do so. During discussions
with Ofsted, NCMA had pressed that this should be an opt-in
service.
