NCMA Helping Combat Child Poverty
The Welsh Assembly Government and the National Assembly is
looking in detail at how best to address child poverty, which is
recognised as a significant barrier to children’s attainment,
well-being and future life chances.
NCMA has been asked to provide evidence on the principles of the
Proposed Children and Families (Wales) Measure to the Legislation
Committee. Given NCMA’s role as the leading professional
association for registered childminders and nannies, our response
focuses on Part 2 of the proposed measure on Childminding and Day
Care for Children.
