Election announced
The date for the general election has now been
confirmed as 6 May 2010, so now is the time to send a
copy of the NCMA general election manifesto to the
parliamentary candidates standing
in your constituency.
Details of the manifesto and how to get
involved feature in the latest issue of Who Minds? You can also follow this link to visit the manifesto
page on the website.
The manifesto asks parliamentary candidates to
sign up to four key principles:
- to improve access to childcare and parental
choice
- to invest in quality
- to support parents with the cost of
childcare
- to improve recognition of the role and status
of home-based childcare.
You can help the messages reach all the
political parties and the parliamentary candidates
by sending them a copy of the manifesto.
If you would like details of who the
candidates are in your area please contact Tim Farrow in the
Communications team at NCMA by emailing tim.farrow@ncma.org.uk or
calling 020 8290 2429.
