Paternity rights
NCMA has commented on the Government’s
‘Support
for All – the Families and Relationships' Green Paper. The
Green Paper sets out the Government's commitment to paternity
rights for fathers, as well as acknowledging the importance of
childcare and achievements made.
Catherine Farrell, Joint Chief Executive of
National Childminding Association, said:
"Whilst we recognise that much has been
achieved with significant investment in the early years there is
still a lot of work to be done and it is vital
that Government focuses on the details which help families
everyday. Ensuring that families have access to the full
choice of high quality registered childcare available should remain
a priority."
