I'm following my dream
Carol Elliot from Waltham Forest, London will be
celebrating National Childminding Week with the children she cares
for.
Here she tells us what a rewarding career home-based
childcare is and her aspirations for her future career.
"I'd always wanted to work with children and becoming a
registered childminder has allowed me to follow my dream. I love
the job and all the children I care for.
"I want to aspire to be the best I can be and am one step away
from completing my Level 3 Diploma. I continuously update my
knowledge so that I can provide the best possible service to both
the children and their parents."
National Childminding Week runs from 4-11
June. This year’s theme is Aspiration, and during the week NCMA
will be highlighting the great work registered childminders and
nannies do in helping children to consider their future
aspirations.
The week will also celebrate the aspirations
of registered childminders and nannies in increasing their
professional development and future career opportunities.
