MP visits Wales childminder
On Friday, 24 June Christopher Evans, MP for
Islwyn, visited network childminder Tina Tutt in Crumlin,
Caerphilly.
During the visit, Mr Evans played playdough
with the children and discussed with Tina and NCMA Cymru staff Nick
Evans and Glynis Huish, the current issues for childminders in
Wales. The visit was also an opportunity for Tina to show the early
education resources she uses and the work her minded children have
produced.
NCMA regularly helps to arrange visits for MP
and Assembly members to find out more about home-based childcare
and the important work that childminders do every day.
