Working Tax Credit survey
NCMA is working alongside NDNA and the
Pre-school Learning Alliance to examine the impact of the
Working Tax Credit on childcare providers.
The Working Tax Credit enables working parents
to receive support with registered childcare from the
Government. At present this is paid directly to the
parent.
NCMA members passed a resolution at the last
national conference for NCMA to investigate an electronic payment
(or 'voucher') to childcare providers as an
alternative.
We are encouraging childminders, nurseries and
pre-schools to have their say on this issue and how it is
affecting them by filling in our survey. It should
only take five minutes or so of your time.
