Awarded for support
Congratulations to Vicky Gill, NCMA member and childminder from
Nottinghamshire who was presented an award recently at Hucknall
Children's Centre's Celebration of Learning event for supporting
childminders in her community.
The event recognised local people’s achievements, who had
dedicated their time to improve knowledge and skills.
Councillor John Willmot, Deputy Leader of Ashfield District
Council, who presented Vicky with the award, said "Vicky has
has offered advice, support and encouragement to new and existing
childminders, as well as supporting their personal and business
skills. In addition to this, she has worked as a childminder
herself, regularly learning and developing her skills through
training opportunities.
"She is a great advocate of local services and as such,
encourages others to make the most of the many community resources
available, for the benefit of the children they care for."
