Chancellor's speech
Responding to the Autumn speech
today by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, NCMA's
Joint Chief Executive commented,
"The Chancellor’s autumn statement includes
one piece of positive news for the early years, that a further
120,000 2 year olds will benefit from free early education.
"Critical to success of this policy will be
ensuring these very young children receive a high quality and
consistent experience.
Liz Bayram also added,
"NCMA is looking forward to working with the
Department for Education to help make this a reality for
disadvantaged 2 year olds."
