Ofsted documents update
Ofsted publishes a document called "Paying fees for
application and continued registration on the Early Years Register
and Childcare Register". This document was updated in August 2011
and has information about the fees that:
- a prospective provider pays when applying for registration on
the Early Years Register and/or the Childcare Register
- a provider pays to continue to be registered on the Early Years
Register and/or the Childcare Register.
Information in the document covers:
- application fees
- annual fees
- the replacement certificate fee
- paying for checks from the Criminal Records Bureau.
In November 2010 Ofsted launched an online payment system for
applicants and registered providers to pay their application and
annual fees online using a debit or credit card.
