Attend a research launch
Childminding Practice in
England Seminar
Tuesday 9 November 2010, 2.00 to
5.00pm, National Children’s Bureau
The NCB Research Centre is hosting a seminar
to launch the initial survey findings from our Esmee Fairbairn
Foundation-funded study, Childminding Practice in England. NCMA is
a partner in this work.
The aim of the seminar is to provide the
latest evidence on childminding practice in England to inform
future practice and policy, including the role of the Early Years
Foundation Stage (EYFS) for childminders.
In addition to the survey findings, the
seminar will also include a presentation by one of the authors of a
recently published Department for Education (DfE) study on
childminders’ experiences of the EYFS. The full programme is
below.
The seminar will be held at the National
Children’s Bureau, 8 Wakley Street, London EC1V 7QE. If you are
interested in attending, please contact Helen Burton at NCB on
hburton@ncb.org.uk or 020
7833 6841.
